Rework
Model BXR-LFB has bar code scanning capabilities and will activate and read (@125Khz) all four (or five if the spare is TPM ID type) wheels on the vehicle in a specific order.
- LCD prompt displays "Scan VIN"
- Scan Bar Code on vehicle window
- There will be a confirming audible sound + light, upon successful bar code reading.
- In case of Bar Code Scan Fault, LCD prompt displays "Manual entry of Bar Code" – whereby the operator will use the keypad for manual entry, and then pushes the "enter" button.
- LCD prompt displays "Scan left front wheel"
- There will be a confirming audible sound + light, upon successful TPM ID reading. The six numbers of the left front wheel TPM ID will be momentarily displayed on the LCD.
- LCD prompt displays "Scan right front wheel"
- There will be a confirming audible sound + light, upon successful TPM ID reading. The six numbers of the right front wheel TPM ID will be momentarily displayed on the LCD.
- LCD prompt displays "Scan right rear wheel"
- There will be a confirming audible sound + light, upon successful TPM ID reading. The six numbers of the right rear wheel TPM ID will be momentarily displayed on the LCD.
- LCD prompt displays "Scan left rear wheel"
- There will be a confirming audible sound + light, upon successful TPM ID reading. The six numbers of the left rear wheel TPM ID will be momentarily displayed on the LCD.
- When vehicles have spare tires with TPM’s, the scanner will display "Scan spare tire".
- LCD prompt displays "Place tool in charger stand"
- After tool is placed in charger stand, and the VIN along with the four (or five) TPM ID’s are downloaded, LCD prompt displays "Ready"
- When tool is then taken out of charger stand, the sequence begins again, starting at #1.
Note:
a) Pushing the "clear" button at any time, will start the sequence over again, starting at #1.
b) If a "no read" condition happens at any wheel, then the operator can either "clear" (see a) and try again or the tire needs to be replaced with a working TPM.
